These are the words we hear from our clients, time and time again, when they give us feedback on our reports.

Detailed

We really care about each property we survey and we concentrate on providing accurate and relevant advice every time. We focus sharply on the quality of each report.

We provide comprehensive advice in our reports, including options for repair, as well as recommendations for any future maintenance required.

Our reports also advise of any future risks related to the structure of the building, the services and the grounds.

Some properties may include specialist elements such as smart home systems, a swimming pool, advanced security systems and more. We can recommend or organise consultants to provide detailed reports on these specialist elements if required.

Thorough

We spend as much time at each property as we require to really get to know it properly. We only inspect one property in a day (and some properties take longer) so we are never under time pressure to move on.

A comprehensive photographic schedule is provided to complement the report, with the number of photographs often exceeding one hundred for properties with multiple issues.

If you have any specific concerns or interest in certain elements of the building, let us know and we’ll spend extra time and energy to provide more detailed comment.

Easy to understand

This is probably the most important piece of feedback we receive, as without considering your understanding, the report isn’t worthwhile.

Our reports are highly professional, but they’re also very simple for you to understand. With clear colour coded condition ratings for each of the building elements, the report is as straightforward as it can be.

We use accessible terminology and cut the jargon, meaning that your understanding of the property will be comprehensive. It’s about the way we deliver the report, as much as what we say in it. Our combination of the report and the photographic schedule really help you understand any defects which may be found, as well as their condition rating.

That’s what we’re concerned about, the condition of your potential property. We leave the market valuation to others.

Why Us

Our reports are bespoke

We can tailor each report to your specific requirements and brief. For example, a bespoke building survey allows you to omit certain features that you know you’re going to replace, such as kitchens, bathrooms, built-in furniture and the like.

Our fees take into account the age, size and apparent condition of a property, meaning that our fee on a modern property in good condition will be less than our fee on an older property of comparable size, which is in need of refurbishment.

Each element of the building is properly considered and we do not cut corners. The way we operate and the care and attention that goes into producing each report is particularly suited to clients who are looking for a comprehensive, accurate, detailed report.
